​Oregon regulations require every child care professional to take a state-approved food handlers course.  The purpose of this course is to instill a basic understanding of critical food safety concepts to keep children safe from harm.  It will improve awareness toward critical food safety concepts to prevent foodborne illness and maintain a healthy food preparation environment.
